Special Round – IAC Milan 2024
The NSW Space Research Network Travel Bursary provides funding to assist NSW/ACT based University students deliver abstracts at IAC Milan 2024.
The Travel Bursary Fund will assist with costs associated with travel and registration costs to attend overseas attend IAC 2024 in Milan.
Eligibility Criteria
- Currently enrolled at an SRN Member university
- Priority will be given to PhD candidates.
- Currently undertaking research related to the Space industry sector
- Must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
Benefit
Eligible Students who meet the criteria detailed below can apply for one of five bursaries of up to $AUD1500.

Complete the following form and email it to admin@srn.org.au with the subject line ‘Travel Bursary Application – [enter your full name]’.
Key Dates
Applications open on Monday 9am 24 June 2024 and close on Friday 28 June 2024 at 5pm.
Successful applicants will be notified via email by Friday 5 July 2024.
Payment will be made upon receipt of expenditure.
Expectations
Recipient to provide:
- approval for their profile, purpose and of travel bursary to be published on the SRN website.
- an event report to be published on the SRN website.
Terms & Conditions
- Travel must be undertaken for the purposes of attending IAC Milan, 14 to 16 October 2024.
- Applicants can only apply for one travel bursary within each funding round.
- Funds will be terminated if the recipient:
- withdraws from an eligible course of study;
- ceases their studies at a NSW or ACT university; or
- is no longer pursuing space-related research.
